So as many of you know, I’ve just gotten back from London! While I was in London, I managed to pack in a shoot with my favorite photographer in the city, Victoria Metaxas! We shot the last time I was in the city and this time, we met up for the first of 2 days of shooting in the beautiful Notting Hill. I’ve only popped onto Notting Hill once before and I got to see some of the beautiful houses that the street is known for! I really loved shooting in front of this gorgeous white house with the stunning purple wisteria that I saw all over in London in front! I’m actually quite surprised my white jacket didn’t completely blend in with the walls of the house, but it’s such a stunning location, I couldn’t pass up this opportunity!
Ankle boots are a staple for every person’s wardrobe, fashion girl or not. Is it hard to believe that up until these pair, I really haven’t owned my own pair of real ankle boots? Well it is a true statement and it’s kind of crazy that I never thought to buy a pair before. I bought these Office booties on a whim, with no regrets now! The pairing of the ankle boot is an art form, but one that I’ve never gotten into myself. I’ve basically lived in these since I bought them and now I know what I’ve been missing out on for all this time!
Ever since I bought these shoes, I haven’t been able to take them off! I wear them with so many different outfits and they are the perfect pair of boots for someone like me. The heel isn’t so high as to I can’t walk in them and honestly, I can walk miles in these ankle boots. I love a good ankle boot because they’re a great day to night shoe and this outfit is no different!
The white bomber is the staple piece of the outfit apart from the boots and I’ve been dying to do a post with this bomber for ages! It’s a favourite of mine, plus, it’s just a great piece right? It’s a cotton bomber so it is a little more breathable than a satin bomber! It’s a great travel piece because it goes with just about ANYTHING, and an all-black look underneath it all just makes the whole thing come together. I love the pu trim on the peplum, and personally, I think the trim gives it some extra pizzazz, while also letting the leather look tie into the same leather look from the ankle boot. I love how the white from the jacket stands out against the white of the beautiful Notting Hill houses, and to me, this outfit is the perfect outfit for a sunny day where I want to look nice! Notting Hill is such a beautiful part of London and if you’ve never been, I really do recommend heading over, even if it’s just to see the houses!
