College Prep: Beauty Essentials

In lieu of school starting up again, I thought it’d be pretty cool to do a new series about the things I’m planning on taking! This series will go up on my blog & my Instagram, so head over to follow it over there! First up, beauty!!

Organizing all of my beauty essentials is hard, but Bed Bath & Beyond has been SUCH a great help in helping me get ready for school! They have a new subsidy called “Harmon Face Values” that has literally everything a college kid needs to get ready to go back to school and more.  I picked up all of the items you see above from my local BB&B, and you can use their handy dandy locator tool to find out where your local store is that sells Face Values. As a student, it’s just now hitting me that I have less than a month to get all of my ducks in a row, but as I went into the store, I realized that I can get EVERYTHING I need for school in one place. Instead of shopping at 10 million stores to find what I need, I can just go to one place and find it all. From bedding to hygiene to decorations,BB&B has it all and I love it!

If you’re a last minute shopper like I am, you’re gonna love the giant variety at Bed Bath & Beyond. As you can see above, I picked up quite a lot of stuff! 2 humongous bags full of stuff, as well as the lovely gift basket I got from Her Campus & P&G! I bought more than enough beauty items that can definitely last me until fall break! I hit the Harmon aisle in the store and found a bunch of great items that are essential to keeping myself clean and fresh while in school. There are lots of brands that I love at BB&B, including Olay, Covergirl, & Herbal Essences. These are all brands that I’ve grown up using, so I know that I can trust them and that I can use them and feel confident in their use. I found all of my hygiene bits that I need for my first semester and more, along with so much more so that will be vital to my college experience.

Honestly, I didn’t just pick up beauty items. I picked up some super cute essentials for my room that will take it from your average college dorm room, and turn it into something I’m proud of. For both myself and my roommate, I picked up these handy dry erase stickers that I can put on the walls and write notes on! They’re an easy way to accessorize and go great with my bedding! I also picked up pins, clips, and a silver desk accessory that will keep me organized and looking good all year long! All of these, I’m happy to share with my roommate, especially my clothes and acessories, but when it comes to items like my personal items, that’s where I’m going to have to ask my lovely roommate not to touch! She’s lovely, but some personal items aren’t for sharing, no matter how close people are! But do you want to know what she can do? She can get her own at Bed Bath & Beyond!

Well I hope you’re gonna enjoy this series, I’ve sure enjoyed writing it so far! Let me know what your essentials for school are in the comments below! x

PS. – There’s a giveaway coming up on Instagram for all of my followers, so if you want to get prepped for school or just get some new stuff, follow me here on Instagram and watch that space!
