Eliminating Dandruff and Increasing Self-Esteem with Dove

Okay, so raise your hand if you have dandruff! It’s nothing to be ashamed of, I do! It’s not something I can really avoid, I just have a super dry scalp! If you’re like me and you have a dry scalp and get dandruff frequently, then I have a possible solution for you. I’ve partnered with Dove Hair today to share with you the Dove DermaCare Scalp Dryness & Itch Relief Shampoo and Conditioner, which will help you get 100% flake-free hair*, just as I have! Since I got it in my hands, I have been using the Dove DermaCare Scalp Dryness & Itch Relief Shampoo and Conditioner rather regularly! I’m a big believer in Dove because of their company ethics, so it was not an issue for me to find them at my local Target or Walmart, especially since they retail for $4.99 a piece. This is just one variant of the Dove DermaCare Scalp Series, which also includes Pure Daily Care, Invigorating Mint, and a Dryness & Itch Relief line.

After using the shampoo and conditioner for a couple of days as directed, I’m happy to know that my hair feels more nourished than before and my dandruff has reduced significantly! I’ve tried hot oil treatments, deep conditioners, you name it, I’ve tried it, but nothing worked consistently. I wash my hair rather regularly, so it was easy to just swap this out for my normal shampoo and conditioner. With the blend of oils, coconut and shea butter, and Pyrithione Zinc, Dove’s DermaCare Scalp Series really helped my scalp (which itches incessantly….you all know what I’m talking about) and really nourished and soothed my scalp and hair.

Haircare and skin care are something that I’m passionate about, especially since I didn’t take care of either when I was younger. Now, I’m not that old, but I do know that taking care of your scalp is just as important as taking care of the skin that we see every day. I’ve had no visible flakes since I started using this line and there’s nothing bad I can say about it. I would if I could, but I don’t have a reason to say anything but great things. I love how Dove’s DermaCare Scalp Dryness & Itch Relief duo has worked to help soothe my itchy scalp, and I’ve stopped making compromises with my hair. I’ve taken control back of my hair and that’s something that I’m proud of and I know my self-esteem will rise from this. I’ve stopped making compromises with my hair, have you as well? The Hat Logic - Eliminating Dandruff and Increasing Self-Esteem with Dove, dove, dove beauty, dove haircare, haircare, hair care, dove dermacare scalp, self-esteem, shampoo conditioner, black hair care, natural hair

I have used Dove in the past and I must say they do have wonderful products. My scalp gets dried in the winter so I’ll definitely look into this!

I actually don’t have dandruff but I do use Dove shampoo and conditioner from time to time and I have to say that I love it. You’re right, it is salon quality hair care but also is so affordable. That is amazing that the Dove dandruff shampoo works well with your hair and leaves it clean and healthy too. Thanks for sharing this! xoxo, Christine

That’s great the Dove shampoo and conditioner worked for your hair! I guess I’m pretty fortunate I don’t get dandruff but it’s always a good idea to keep your hair nourished with good haircare 🙂

I really want to try this line from Dove! I have dandruff too and unfortunately frizzy hair, which is an annoying combination. Typically I find that most dandruff shampoos can be really drying so my hair ends up getting even frizzier. Thanks for sharing your review! I’m definitely going to check this out!
