This week, I’m feeling like having a throwback to London! As I’m prepping for London Fashion Week to kick off in September, I’m thinking back to my last visit in May. You may have seen that I went out to Greenwich and did a shoot and now you get to see all of the gorgeous photos from that day! This was probably one of my favourite shoots to date and the location was breathtaking. I got to explore the university for a minute wearing one of my favourite shirt dresses: a green loose one from & Other Stories.
& Other Stories has always been a favourite of mine not only because they have great clothing, but also for the quality. As an H&M sister store, I was skeptical to buy anything, thinking that the fast fashion of H&M had bled into their lines, but I was shocked and impressed by the store from the moment I walked in. I picked this one up during my NYC birthday trip last February and I love wearing it. It’s a great piece for the summer because it’s so breezy compared to most of the shirt dresses that are released for the summer season.

The green of the shirtdress paired perfectly with the green and gold of Greenwich. I paired it with one of my signature fedoras, and voila! The perfect and effortless summer look was created. This is a simple look that I can wear out with friends or even to a nice dinner when I switch out the shoes. These ankle boots from Office were perfect for exploring around because the heel is just right. I find it hard to find a good summer look that is perfect for most occasions, but this dress has to take the cake.
You really can’t go wrong with a shirtdress, especially if you’re visiting a place like London and need to have something you can dress up and down depending on the weather. A good leather jacket helps supplement if London chooses to get a little chilly during the summer, but still keeps the effortlessly cool vibe that is perfect for summer.
