This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and The J.M. Smucker Company, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #DunkinDonutsPublix http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV
As a college student, let me tell you…getting up for that 8am class after being up all night, just isn’t fun anymore! In the morning, all I wanna do is get up on my time, eat a nice breakfast, and grab a cup of coffee to get me started and ready to take on the world! Well, most times, I only get one of those, but I make sure that it’s my coffee! I’m probably like most people when I say how important coffee is to my daily routine. As the seasons turn, I’m not drinking my typical piping hot drink, but I’ve started to ice it down! This morning I’m going to share how I’m dressing up my favorite coffee grounds from Dunkin’ Donuts® and making it my own!
I’ve always been a Dunkin’ Donuts coffee kinda girl when I make my own coffee. I bought a french press when I got to college (best decision ever, let me tell you), so when I’m getting dressed in the morning, I can make myself a nice cup of Joe for the go! I can find my French Vanilla blend most places, but I love going to shop at Publix because they constantly have it in stock and with a deal to match! Right now, you can get $1.00 off any of your favorite Dunkin’ Donuts blends with this coupon which expires 5/6 and lasts while supplies last! I hope you caught that rhyme, but if you didn’t it’s alright. When I have a little more extra me time, I love to make my special honey and French Vanilla coffee for the go!
- The first thing I do is obviously make my coffee! Using my french press, I go through all of the motions of making coffee, and these special Dunkin’ Donuts grounds are infused with French Vanilla, so that’s one step to skip!
- While my coffee is brewing, I take my honey and line a mason jar with it! It’s a simple way to spice up your coffee and make it a little more sweet, but without ruining your teeth or your health! Honey is a natural sugar, so try it and you won’t realize what you’ve been missing out on!
- Right before I add my coffee, I go to the kitchen and grab ice cubes. Once the honey is on the walls of the jar, I add in my ice cubes and the coffee. This cools down the coffee immediately and although it can get a little diluted, it’s great to have a cool drink for those hot days!
- Give it a little mix and spin so some of the honey comes off of the walls and infuses into the coffee, but you’re ready for your drink!! Add ice cubes and creamer to your heart’s desire as needed!
Well now that I’ve shared my recipe, wanna know why I always go back to Dunkin’ over the millions of other brands of coffee grounds? The grounds and taste are exactly the same whether I’m in store or at home and with a quality that good, I can’t resist splurging! I love being able to start my day with something that I truly love, and before I start my day, grabbing a cup of coffee is a great way to get some me time before I go out into the world!
